Interested in Joining Our Team?

The Praxis Society is a registered charitable organization run by a volunteer board that works to bring Science programming to every part of Southeastern Alberta. Please consider being an active supporter of Praxis through joining Praxis, becoming a Praxis volunteer, or donating to Praxis.

We are a forward looking organization seeking individuals with experience and passion in any of the following areas:

  • Science literacy and education

  • Any of the many facets of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

  • Oral and graphic communication skills to help students present their work

  • Educational Administration

  • Board of Directors (Corporate or Non-Profit)

  • Marketing/Communications/Media/Public Relations/Government Relations

  • APEGA, AIA, Service Club active membership.

Current Requirements:

We are currently looking for volunteers who can:

  • Participate in policy development

  • Help with fundraising

  • Provide IT support

  • Maintain, test and develop new science activity kits

  • We are also in need of a volunteer to help recruit new volunteers.
